Grade school level fix: I place a box fan outside the shower, but oriented to circulate air inside my shower stall, turn it on every time I exit the shower, leave it on 8 hrs. Result: Dries out the entire stall, zero mold growth now for several years, no need to use harsh, caustic cleaners either.

It's weird that it mentions ventilation. Doesn't the state or the insurance company have minimum standards you need to live up to?
