Lecturing the machine, talking down to it etc. The bot is a bewildered dog. It wants to help you but it is confused. You won't help it by yelling at it.

Why not? The bot has no feelings. It has no personality. It isn't alive.

Shouting at it might work, similarly to how hitting an old TV might get it to work.
