HN guidelines request "please use the original title"[0] (although there's also a character limit which can add complexity). As the page currently reads, the submission title should be "Better software requirements" (rather than using the first sentence fragment).

I'm guessing this is your page, in which case you could update its title/h1 to match this submission title, if you prefer it.

Apologies, I overlooked this guideline. I'm more than happy to update it, but unfortunately I'm not seeing a way to update my submission.


Many decision makers only talk to other decision makers across the corporate boundaries, so that the people nominally leading the software devs are never interacting with the people who actually use the software either, just the people who purchase the software.


Developers thrive when they know what to do and can make the right decisions.


There's not a lot of incentive to try harder. Office Space had a bit about this.


I've never worked at a company like this, sounds hellish.
