I love when someone takes a chart at it's highest, ie 1970s violence, and then compares it to modern times to call it "low". People don't seem to understand what NYC looked like in the 1970s - many people called it a urban Iraq. 1

Violent crime is on the rise and nitpicking statistics from an ivory tower while victims increase exponentially is not only ignorant but downright malicious.
