I was happy to see this posted because I have been citing this as an example of misguided application of copyright protection to muscial snippets, and unaware that it had been overturned last year.


The appeals-court verdict reads much more sensibly than the initial trial-court decision.

The entire episode, and quite frankly the industry, are both madness, still.
