If I understood correctly, the company wasn't a farm, they just had their office there, and the interviewee found that environment unpleasant.


Ahh, makes sense.

Many engineers I know would love to work near a farm, heck I'd even consider that a perk of the job. "Sick of twitter? Go look at some livestock."

This is subjective, obviously.
