I remember times when this sentiment was being expressed about “According to Wikipedia...” As much as I am pro implementing this rule, I’m afraid we are losing this fight.

What’s not ok with stickers and a pen?

True, but what if the pen wrote everything for you and even turned your notes into tasks that got done automatically?

Personally, I don't find that use case to be very compelling. Taking notes, deriving tasks from them, etc., are not problems that I need solving. In fact, doing those things manually brings a very large benefit in terms of helping to clarify my thoughts, getting insights, and better remembering everything.

When I outsource that (whether to machine or another human), I lose a lot of benefit.

I was under impression, JJ is simple and is a UX step up over Git.

I found it pretty simple to get started with, but I also have a mercurial background, which I think is more closely aligned with jj.

As in The Myth of Sisyphus, doing it just in spite.

One must imagine Sisyphus happy.

Every time he puts his hands on the stone, there is a smirk on his face.

Sleep until you can’t take it anymore. In less than 12h something will appear more interesting than sleeping.

I find this intensely amusing. In grade school, I got "mono" and dang near literally slept for several days. Granted, being sick is a bit different than being disinterested.

My problem is typically more that there are plenty of more interesting things to do than anything I'd like to do right now.

Being picky was never easy.

The meaning was never there in the first place, you just were taught that it is there. Adapt.

That's literally all language.

All language is socially constructed. It's still annoying when people try to change the meanings of words.

(So far)

(also observed to be lethal in cases)

And even less than that

What’s your use case?
