I too have found Syncthing + Filebrowser to be a sufficient substitute for Dropbox.

I found the domain I use by searching for {word}mail.com among expired domains (e.g. expireddomains.net) or new domains (e.g. https://leandomainsearch.com/search/?q=mail)

No need to feel dummy, I was about to ask the exact same question.

I get the desire to make the Bitwarden login more secure, but this is very likely to cause problems for users who don't have their email password memorized. 2FA already carries the burden of needing a backup if you lose your phone. This change means users will need to come up with an alternate way to log in to their email account. I'm not sure it's worth it.

Same with Brave and Firefox on desktop

It gets even more complicated if you use 2FA with your email provider.

I used to only use free services. Then a few shut down, so I started paying for services to help support them.

- Fastmail

- TickTick

- Bitwarden family

- Dynalist - Personal knowledge management

- Several servers & domains for self-hosting

- Laravel Forge - server management

- Hetrixtools - Uptime monitor

- Bunny.net - CDN

- Anonaddy - Email aliases

- Standard Notes

Just a note that the plugin is considered beta:

> Per the primary purpose of the plugin...it can mostly be considered a beta testing plugin.
