We use social auth only for our platform, and when Facebook is offered, we see far higher conversion rates and usage of Facebook over all other options.
One comparison to this is the big push to get in car navigation and smarts developed by the tech sector. There is a reason radios and stuff work year after year through heat and cold and the like.
