Pretty neat but I don’t love the price. I got a real working C64 for $100, and a turbo chameleon that can bring all the fpga benefits and connectivity for less.
I also wonder whose fpga core they are using and if they licensed it or not.
This bugged me for reasons I can’t quite explain. I think it’s that I can write and edit the command before making the modification and the ease of going back and reusing a historic search and replace relatively easily.
most of that money wasn't cash assistance but the retail value of old military equipment we sent them as a write down, equipment that was already paid for by taxpayers.

When I made it I also found a bug in the xattr implementation for Darwin and submitted it to Apple, they eventually fixed it.
