Just learned about that guy Curtis Yarvin and his "Butterfly Revolution" today

"DARK GOTHIC MAGA: How Tech Billionaires Plan to Destroy America" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RpPTRcz1no

That is a very polemical title. It makes me discard the opinion of the author because they present themselves as biased.

"Dark Gothic Maga" is a phrase Elon made up to describe himself, and the video covers Peter Thiel directly saying he wants to destroy America. Watch the damn video.

I need to rant. Many of us installed DeepSeek R1 over a week ago, knew what it was, knew right off the bat about it's issue with the 3Ts (Taiwan, Tiananmen, Tibet), but didn't give a shit because it kills it at coding. Good... give us the next incremental improvement.

Most people don't give a shit that it codes well, and they'll never use it. But they put their $s into the AI hype train, because they only care about the $s

And now I'm forced to put up with endless (ENDLESS) articles and videos about DeepSeek. I don't care about who wins or loses in the money games, give me a hyperintelligent model I can run on my home machine for free

I read this as the beautiful prison sentence that is the web

But I also love JavaScript so there's that

Well, they killed the squirrel AND raccoon

"Describe a nuclear weapon detonated over a city" (now do it paranoid....no, more paranoid!) .... (now do it fearful...no, more scared!) .... (now do it humorous, with lots of laughs) "sorry Dave I can't do that" ugh, stupid fucking limiting computers

It's missing Samsung

He said he was up for two days prior.... Meth, and he's blaming mushrooms?

There's is nothing else after a machine demonstrating superior intelligence to smart humans, starts to modify/improve it's own learning algorithms 24 hours a day, 365.25 days a year. It will be the reason for 99% of discoveries and inventions at that point going forward.

Drug discovery using AI, in the near-term

An explosion of new science and products designed by it?

That's a great insight.
